Cebu City Chapter
- The Cebu chapter was established in 2010 to raise the profile of Canada-Philippine business interests in Cebu area.
- The establishment of the Cebu Chapter enables CanCham to have direct access to and productive dialogue with the Governor, with Mayors of the cities and municipalities in the greater Cebu area, and with business groups including the Cebu Business Club (CBC), Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCCI) in Cebu.
- A CanCham Member resident in Cebu is appointed as Chairman of the chapter to lead Cebu-related activities and as a channel of communications with CanCham’s national office. The current Chairman is Felix “Boy” Tiukinhoy Jr.
- Residents in Cebu join CanCham as members of CanCham Philippines with the Cebu Chapter established to provide an additional structure to focus on Cebuano interests.
- CanCham activities in Cebu for members are supported by CanCham-Cebu office as well as the CanCham National Office directly.
- The Cebu Chapter has regular monthly luncheons with business briefings on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Marriott Hotel in Cebu City.
- The Cebu Chapter of CanCham was established under authority of the By Laws of CanCham in 2010 and is managed in accord with the new By Laws of CanCham approved by SEC in 2013.
